Install Privas AI on Google Sites

Embed the AI representative on a Google Sites website

By aninditoUpdated 4 Mar 2026

Google Sites allows you to embed external content using the Embed feature.
You can use this capability to add the Privas AI representative to your website without editing any code.

This guide explains how to embed the Privas AI widget inside a Google Sites page so visitors can interact with your assistant directly from your site.

Why this matters

Embedding the assistant in Google Sites:

  • Makes your AI representative accessible to visitors
  • Keeps communication consistent
  • Requires no technical configuration

This affects only the page where you add the embed.

It does not modify your Google account, domain settings, design theme, or SEO configuration.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

  • Access to your Google Sites editor
  • Your Privas AI Website Widget Embed Code

You can copy the embed code from your Privas AI Domain Dashboard.

Step 1 — Open Your Google Site

  1. Log in to your Google Sites Dashboard.
  2. In the Recent Sites section, select the website where you want to install the assistant.

What This Installation Does — and Does Not Do

This installation:

✔ Displays your assistant on the embedded page
✔ Loads securely for visitors
✔ Works independently from Google services

It does NOT:

✘ Modify your site theme
✘ Change navigation structure
✘ Affect domain ownership
✘ Alter Google Workspace settings

The widget simply connects your Google Site page to your configured Privas AI domain.

Important Note About Google Sites

Google Sites supports embed functionality inside a dedicated embed page.

If you want the assistant available from your homepage, consider:

  • Adding a clear navigation link to the embedded page
  • Naming the page clearly (e.g., “AI Assistant”)

If the Widget Does Not Appear

  • Confirm the full embed code was pasted
  • Make sure you clicked Publish
  • Refresh your browser
  • Verify that the embed was added using Embed Code, not URL

Next Step

Continue to Test the Representative.

Before sharing publicly, confirm that your assistant represents your business clearly and accurately.
