How the Assistant Represents You

Privas AI behaves differently from a general chatbot. It acts as a representative of your website, explaining your organization, products, or services using the identity and knowledge you configure.

Two ideas make this possible: domain isolation and identity representation.

Domain isolation

Each assistant operates inside its own domain. A domain keeps its knowledge, configuration, and conversations separate, so the assistant answers only from the information defined for that domain. For a company website, that means it answers using that company's information and nothing else.

Identity representation

Identity lets the assistant answer as your organization rather than a generic AI. Configure who it represents, its role, and the scope of what it should explain in AI Identity. With identity set, questions like "What does this company do?" and "How does this work?" are answered in a way that reflects your organization.

Grounded in your knowledge

When a visitor asks a question, the assistant searches the knowledge connected to the domain (your pages, documents, and other sources) and uses the most relevant information to answer. It does not rely on general assumptions, so answers stay grounded. If it cannot find enough information, it may ask the visitor to clarify.
