Before you begin setup, it is important to understand what you are actually creating.

Privas AI is not a typical chatbot.

You are not installing a support widget.
You are not configuring an automated reply system.

You are creating a website representative.

What Privas AI actually does

Every website explains something.

A service.
A product.
A company.
A process.

But visitors rarely read websites completely.
They skim, jump between pages, or leave with unanswered questions.

Privas AI turns your website into a place where visitors can ask directly instead of searching manually.

The assistant answers using only the knowledge you provide.
It does not browse the internet, guess information, or invent details outside your content.

This makes the assistant:

consistent
accurate
safe to represent your business

Think of it as a trained staff member who only speaks about your organization — and nothing else.

What you are setting up

When you use Privas AI, you are creating a structured system made of four parts:

Identity
Who the assistant represents and how it introduces your organization.
Behaviour
How it communicates — tone, clarity, and response style.
Knowledge
The information it is allowed to use when answering visitors.
Access
Where people can interact with it (share link or website widget).

Once configured, the assistant can answer visitor questions 24/7 while staying within your defined scope.

What Privas AI is NOT

Privas AI is intentionally limited.

It is not a general-purpose AI assistant.
It will not answer unrelated topics, personal questions, or world knowledge outside your website.

This is by design.

The goal is reliability, not randomness.

Visitors should trust that answers reflect your organization — not a generic internet AI.
